FAQs

How do I book an appointment?

Call or text us at (385) 202-5845, or email team@optimalhormonehealth.com

If you are a new patient, we will also book you an appointment to draw your labs prior to your consultation

Do I need to have labs drawn?

We do require all new patients to have our full panel drawn before the initial consult. The price of the labs is included with our New Patient Pricing. We do our blood draws in our office, and they are a quick 10-15 minute visit.

What symptoms can you help with?

Feeling like you are past your peak, not feeling like yourself, fatigue, abnormal weight gain, hot flashes, decreased libido, vaginal dryness, mood changes, anxiety, and memory lapses, just to name a few!

Our vaginal rejuvenation laser can also treat stress and urinary incontinence.

Our Duo device can treat male and female sexual dysfunction and restore sexual function and pleasure in both men and women!

Do you see men & women?

Yes! Men can have hormone imbalance just as women can. We love seeing couples!

What are bioidentical hormones?

Bioidentical hormones are hormones that are identical in molecular structure to those made in the body. Your body already knows how to use it and doesn't have to do any extra work to convert them into a useable structure.

What is Menopause?

Menopause is considered as the time 12 months after your last period and can last about 1-2 years on average. Typically females will go through menopause at ages 45-55, although this can vary!

Menopause is the natural decline in reproductive hormones as we age. Symptoms can include hot flashes, irritability, weight gain, sleeping problems, vaginal dryness, chills, mood changes and more.

We believe you do not have to suffer through menopause - we can help alleviate many symptoms, just ask us how!

What is Andropause

Andropause is the hormone-related change that happens as men age. Andropause is different from menopause in that it is more gradual, and may take awhile to notice the effects.

Symptoms of andropause include decreased energy, depression, reduced libido, erectile dysfunction, sleep problems, weight gain, loss of muscle mass, feeling past your peak, decreased concentration, and more.

The good news is we can help!

What can I expect from my first visit?

Prior to your visit, we will have you complete your health history and get blood work drawn. At your visit, we will take a comprehensive look at your labs, history, health goals, and symptoms to come up with a personalized treatment plan.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay practice and do not bill insurance. However, we can give you the forms and codes needed to assist you in getting reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What labs do you draw?

Our initial panel is comprehensive and thorough, we check more than just hormones! We also check vitamins & minerals, inflammatory markers, thyroid, and more!
