Monica O. Bell, DNP

Born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah, Monica Olsen Bell knew early on that she wanted to dedicate herself to a rewarding career in medicine. In 1998 Monica graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Monica continued her education at the University of Utah,  graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a doctorate in Nursing Practice. As a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner she is committed to working with patients in a collaborative therapeutic relationship.


Monica specializes in bio-identical hormone therapy individually tailored for men and women to achieve optimal health. Utilizing the most recent medical literature to responsibly guide treatment, Monica dedicates herself to patient safety first, which remains the cornerstone of her preventative clinical practice.

Alex May

Practice Manager, FMCHC

Ask Alex about her favorite part of the job, she'll say she loves how rewarding it is! Being a part of people finding their vitality and zeal for life again is what fuels her passion. Alex attended Loyola Marymount University and the University of Utah for Exercise & Sports Medicine.

Alex is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, and looks forward to seeing how she can help you overcome your health goals and obstacles. She can help you find accountability and motivation to make change when change is hard. 


You can also find Alex in our office helping with all things- answering patient questions, drawing blood, and assisting with procedures. She is your go-to for any and all questions!

Valerie Billman, RN

Valerie is a Registered Nurse excited to be working with Optimal Hormone Health - born and raised in Rigby, Idaho, Valerie's nursing education started at Idaho State University in Pocatello then completed at Denver School of Nursing. Valerie loves being a nurse and the opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge, and empower patients to be their best selves!
