Monica O. Bell, DNP
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Monica Olsen Bell knew early on she wanted to dedicate herself to a rewarding career in medicine. In 1998, she graduated from Westminster College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then continued her education at the University of Utah, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice.

As a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Monica is passionate about building collaborative, therapeutic relationships with her patients. She specializes in bioidentical hormone therapy for both men and women, tailoring each treatment plan to help patients achieve optimal balance and long-term well-being.

Grounded in science and guided by the latest medical research, Monica’s approach prioritizes patient safety and preventive care-principles that form the cornerstone of her clinical philosophy at Optimal Hormone Health in Salt Lake City.

Outside the clinic, Monica loves spending time on the golf course or planning her next adventure with her husband and two boys.

Valerie Billman, RN
Valerie is a Registered Nurse excited to be working with Optimal Hormone Health - born and raised in Rigby, Idaho, Valerie's nursing education started at Idaho State University in Pocatello then completed at Denver School of Nursing. Valerie loves being a nurse and the opportunity to build relationships, share knowledge, and empower patients to be their best selves! ​
Valerie is our medical weight loss expert, and is here to help you reach and maintain your goals. She also assists in patient care- from phlebotomy to managing injections, and being a resource for patients when they have questions.

On her free time, Valerie enjoys going to concerts, traveling, drinking coffee and playing bingo at the bar. She and her husband love to spend time together taking their 3 boys to all their sporting activities and planning family adventures.
Alex Kelley
Practice Manager, FMCHC
Ask Alex about her favorite part of the job, she'll say she loves how rewarding it is! Being a part of people finding their vitality and zeal for life again is what fuels her passion. Alex graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Kinesiology. She is also a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach.
You can find Alex in our office helping with all things- answering patient questions, drawing blood, and assisting with procedures. Patient coordination is her specialty- she loves making sure patients feel well taken care of.
​Outside of the office, Alex enjoys golfing and being a pet-parent to her cat & dog. She loves being outside (preferably with a good book) and spending time with her family. ​​
